It amazes me though that there are traditionalists who have never been able to appreciate or experience for themselves the contemporary worship experience. Why is that? Inhibition? Comfort zone? I don't at all doubt the depth of their personal experience with Christ, but taste in music aside, an extended time of meditative worship just doesn't seem to resonate for certain folks. Curious...
Why cool sounding blog? Truthfully, it's because I just couldn't come up with anything else. All my Christian friends have these great, theologically deep names for their blogs like Surrendered and Bleeding or My Self is on the Shelf--you know deep, brooding sorts of blog names. Well, I guess I'm not that creative or Spirit-filled and I have no working knowledge of Greek or Hebrew or Aramaic, so after days, weeks, fortnights struggling I ended up with this name, Cool Sounding Blog. But hey IF IT SOUNDS COOL, MAYBE IT IS COOL.
